‘Let’s get him in’ – Jamie O’Hara urges Spurs to spend big on 24-year-old
Jamie O’Hara has urged Tottenham Hotspur to do what it takes to secure the services of Newcastle striker Alexander Isak this summer.
Over the last few months, several outlets have backed Tottenham to enter the market for a marquee centre-forward, with the Lilywhites thought to be on the lookout for an heir to Harry Kane (Football Insider).
Isak is rumoured to be one of the names on Tottenham’s radar, with The Sun claiming at the start of April that the Magpies might have to sell some of their players in order to comply with FFP regulations.
The publication revealed that Newcastle were bracing themselves for bids from both Spurs and Arsenal for the centre-forward, who they allegedly value at £100m.
The two North London clubs? interest in Isak was subsequently backed up by Football Insider, who added that Ange Postecoglou’s men have allocated a big portion of the summer budget to sign a top-class number nine of the Swede’s stature.

O’Hara has admitted that he would love to see the 24-year-old PL star come to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.
The former Spurs midfielder told talkSPORT (27/4/24, 5:34 pm): “We would love Isak at Tottenham. Let?s get him in. What a player he is!”
