Harry Kane’s comeback from an ankle injury is going well and he remains on course to feature in both the Champions League final and England’s Nations League semi-final.
The striker has not played since Tottenham’s 1-0 win over Manchester City in the Champions League on 9 April after damaging his ankle ligaments.
He was quickly ruled out for the season, but that was before Spurs unexpectedly extended their campaign till 1 June, by reaching the Champions League final.
Kane now looks likely to be ready for the trip to Madrid to face Liverpool, after the Guardian reported that he is already back running in training.
The 25-year-old will step up his recovery with some basic ball work in the coming days before sprinting again next week. Barring any unforeseen complications, this will see him play some part in the clash with the Reds on 1 June.

Such has been Kane’s recovery that Gareth Southgate plans to include him in his England squad for the Nations League semi-finals, which he will announce on Thursday.
Kane has reportedly made it clear that he wants to be involved and expects to be ready to face Netherlands on Thursday 6 June in Guimaraes.
