Heung-min Son seemingly disagrees with Postecoglou’s opinion on Spurs set-pieces
Son Heung-min acknowledged that Tottenham’s set-piece defending was not up to the required standard against Arsenal and admitted that it was always going to be difficult to come back after the errors that they committed in the first half.
The North London Derby was an extremely frustrating watch for everyone associated with Spurs, partly because there was not too much wrong about the home side’s general play.
Even though Ange Postecoglou’s men were coming up against the league leaders, they more than held their own for much of the game and dictated proceedings.
However, lapses in concentration at the back once again cost the Lilywhites, who conceded twice from corner kicks in the first half, including a Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg own goal.
While Spurs did battle back to score twice in the second half, the game very much felt like a wasted opportunity for the home side and showed that they still lack that killer instinct needed to compete with the best sides in the division.

Son bemoaned the kind of goals that Tottenham conceded and admitted that set-pieces are an area that the team need to work on.
