Journalist explains big transfer decision Postecoglou has to make on new centre-back

Journalist Ben Jacobs has now claimed that Tottenham Hotspur have to decide if it would be worth spending big on a first-choice centre-back, given how good Crisitan Romero and Micky van de Ven have looked in the first three games of the season.
Van de Ven has hit the ground running at the North London club since his arrival from Wolfsburg, and the Dutchman’s partnership with Romero seems to have all the making of a great one, with the pair complementing each other quite well.

The journalist suggested that Tosin Adarabioyo no longer seems to be an option for the Lilywhites as the Fulham man appears likely to head to Monaco.

Jacobs has now said that Tottenham could look to bring in a backup central defender rather than making another big-money addition to their backline.
