Opinion: Tottenham player ratings from the wild 4-3 defeat to Liverpool
Tottenham Hotspur are Tottenham Hotspur. That game is almost too hard to put into words. 3-0 down within 15 minutes, then back to 3-3, only to lose it in the 94th minute.
Let’s take a look at how the individual players got on:

Fraser Forster – 6 –Â Really impressed with his kicking and playing out from the back today. The goals were not his fault, but there is only so high he can be rated with four conceded.
Pedro Porro – 5 – The good and the bad. He was completely missing defensively for the first 15 minutes, but went on to make himself a real attacking threat in the final 60 minutes of the match.
Cristian Romero – 4 –Â So disappointed with him. It feels, at times, as though he checks out mentally because he is frustrated at the performances of his teammates. That penalty was just braindead and it looked as though he was barely trying. In the second half, he was immense once more. Eric Dier – 2 –Â Just a nightmare again today. Shades of Newcastle. Away from home, Dier seems to crumble under the pressure. His passing out from the back was woeful this evening and his man-marking was even worse.
Ben Davies – 4 – His first game back so you have to give him the benefit of the doubt to an extent. Definitely wasn’t the worst performer but the first 15 minutes hardly filled you with confidence.
