Report: Postecoglou identifies three priority positions for Spurs to invest in
According to The Times, Ange Postecoglou has informed the Tottenham hierarchy that he wants a new striker, a centre-back and a midfielder this summer.
The report says that on the back of being one of the Premier League’s biggest spenders over the last two transfer windows, Spurs are set to back Postecoglou again with big-money additions this summer.
It is explained that Tottenham want to take advantage of the fact that they are in a good position with respect to PSR, unlike other Premier League sides who have to sell before they can buy.

Postecoglou identifies priority areas for Spurs

The Lilywhites are expected to support Postecoglou despite the team’s disappointing end to the season, with there being a recognition at Hotspur Way that the squad needs greater depth to compete on multiple fronts next season.
The report adds that Spurs are targeting younger players who are aggressive and capable of fulfilling the Australian’s demands of high-risk, possession-based football.
The publication says that there are also expected to be some high-profile exits this summer, with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Emerson Royal, Giovani Lo Celso, Ryan Sessegnon and Bryan Gil expected to be moved on while Yves Bissouma and Richarlison could also be sold ...
