Report reveals what Spurs plan to do before making Timo Werner decision
According to The Times, Tottenham Hotspur will explore moves for other attackers this summer before making a decision on whether to sign Timo Werner.
Werner’s future remains up in the air after the forward’s loan spell at Spurs came to a premature end when he suffered a hamstring injury in the North London Derby.
Tottenham have the option to sign the 28-year-old permanently for £15m, with the option clause being valid until June 15 (TEAMtalk).
When asked about the German’s situation, Ange Postecoglou said last week that a decision on the forward?s future will only be made at the end of the season depending on Tottenham?s overall summer plans (Football.London).
However, a couple of days ago, journalist Pete O’Rourke said on Football Insider the on-loan RB Leipzig man has not done enough to convince Postecoglou and that he has seen his chance of a permanent deal ‘go up in smoke’.

Spurs will shop around before signing Werner
If The Telegraph’s latest update is to be believed, even though the former Chelsea man has been a useful contributor for Spurs, the club are not in a hurry to make a decision on him.
The report says that the Lilywhites will explore moves for other attacking targets before deciding whether to activate the permanent clause to buy Werner.
