Report: Spurs are ‘frontrunners’ to sign prolific Australian teenager
Tottenham continue to scour the transfer market for the best young talent, and it seems they are looking to bring another Australian to the club now to join Ange Postecoglou, as the Lilywhites lead the race for 19-year-old striker Thomas Waddingham.
While Tottenham are linked with a number of high-profile players across a variety of different positions, there is clearly a focus on acquiring great young players for the club’s future, too.
Spurs already have Lucas Bergvall on the way in the summer, with the Swedish starlet joining the likes of Dane Scarlett, Alejo Veliz, and Jamie Donley among the highly-rated young players already at the club.

Spurs chasing Thomas Waddingham
Now, another talented teenager is emerging on Tottenham’s radar, as Australian striker Thomas Waddingham becomes a target ahead of the summer according to Football Insider.
Waddingham has six goals and one assist in 22 appearances for Brisbane Roar this season, as well as two goals in two games for the Australian Under-19 side at the end of last year (Transfermarkt). Five of those league goals have come in the last nine games.
It is thought Tottenham “are leading a host of Premier League clubs in the battle” for the youngster. But, Waddingham has “caught the attention” of many “top clubs” around Europe.
