GiveMeSport have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur could prevent Oliver Skipp and Troy Parrott from leaving the club this summer to ensure they have the required homegrown numbers for the Premier League and the Champions League.

Parrott has been in sublime form on loan at Excelsior Rotterdam with 12 goal contributions in 22 Eredivisie matches so far this season.

GiveMeSport have backed up what we have already heard from other sources by suggesting that the striker is now a wanted man across Europe, with clubs from Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium said to be plotting moves for him.

However, the outlet says that Spurs could block Parrott from leaving the club since they are in danger of failing to meet the Premier League’s homegrown quota heading into next season.
The report says that the Lilywhites are also wary about making sure that they have enough club-trained players for the Champions League if they qualify for the competition.

It is asserted that Oliver Skipp, who might want to leave his boyhood club in search of a new challenge, might also be prevented from leaving by Ange Postecoglou’s men.
