Spurs chairman makes bold claim over futures of Kane and Alli

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has made a claim about the futures of two of his star players amid links to Real Madrid.
Reports earlier on Thursday suggested that Spurs have made moves to tie down star midfielder Dele Alli to a new contract, with Real and PSG lurking.
Meanwhile, the Daily Express reported on Wednesday that Harry Kane had picked his Real Madrid shirt number and set out his wage demands ahead of a possible ?150m move.
However, comments from chairman Daniel Levy will ease Spurs fans’ nerves, as he claims that the club are under no pressure to sell.
“I’m 100 per cent confident. Every single player that we want to keep, I can assure you will be playing for Tottenham Hotspur next season,” Levy told Sky Sports News.
“Mauricio’s strategy has always been that if an opportunity arises that he thinks can improve the squad then we will need to look at it, but January is always a very difficult window.”

After scoring twice in Tottenham?s 3-0 FA Cup win over Wimbledon on Sunday, Kane was asked what the club needs to do to secure his long-term future.
?I?ve always said, just keep progressing, keep getting better,? Kane said.
?We want to start winning trophies so that?s the aim. As long as the club keeps doing that then I?m happy here.?
