An emotional Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson dedicated his dramatic stoppage-time winner for the Reds in their 2-1 victory against West Brom to his late father.
The Brazilian produced a moment of magic when he nodded in a last-gasp goal to keep his side’s hopes of reaching the top four intact.
With the scores level at 1-1 in the 95th minute, the ‘keeper came up for a corner – the last kick of the game – and headed in like a centre-forward to give Jurgen Klopp’s side an incredible win at the Hawthorns on Sunday.

Hal Robson-Kanu gave the Baggies the early lead before Mohamed Salah equalised just after the half-hour mark, and the game looked set to be heading for a draw until Alisson’s unbelievable intervention with seconds to go.
It was his first ever goal in his career, and it proved to be an important one as it moved Liverpool to within one point of fourth-placed Chelsea with just two games left to play this season.
In an emotional post-match interview, Alisson spoke of the awful time he has been through after the tragic death of his father Jose in February when he drowned in Brazil, as he dedicated the goal to his dad and team-mates.
