West Ham United loanee Said Benrahma has insisted he is getting stronger as he enjoys life away from the Hammers on loan with Lyon.
The forward has been speaking, relayed by Olympique Et Lyonnais, after Lyon?s 0-0 with Strasbourg in the French cup on Tuesday, which the former ended up winning 4-3 on penalties.
It proved to be a frustrating evening for Benrahma and his Lyon teammates, who were unable to find the back of the net and had to rely on the shoot-out to progress to the semi-finals.
That was an annoyance for the West Ham forward, who joined on loan at the end of the January transfer window and has been looking to keep up a recent positive streak in the team.
He joined after falling down the pecking order at the London Stadium under David Moyes this season, and had something of a slow start back in France but has been gaining strength in recent weeks. He now insists that is very much the case as far as he?s concerned.
“(I) was satisfied with qualifying for the semi-finals,? Olympique Et Lyonnais report him saying.
?I should have been a little more deadly because I had situations. But there are evenings like that. I hope that from Sunday against Lens, it will be possible change and I will be able to score.
