If West Ham want to pretend it?s any of the last four transfer windows and make a move for Sevilla?s Youssef En-Nesyri again, they may be welcomed.
That?s at least according to Diario de Sevilla, who say the ?management committee? at the club would probably be happy to sell the striker.
They explain that while the Moroccan is considered a hero at the club thanks to the goals he?s scored in recent years, the reality is that they need to bring money in this summer.
After something of a disastrous year in which they?ve flirted with relegation and not secured European football, it?s been widely reported that the club are short of cash and sales are needed to balance the books for a potential rebuild of the squad.
En Nesyri is a prime candidate for that after receiving multiple offers from the Premier League in recent years, mostly from West Ham. Indeed, he turned down a ?serious? offer in January 2023 when they came calling again and bid ?30m, insisting he wanted to remain where he was and wasn?t interested in the money.
Sevilla now value that money over loyalty, though, and the ?management committee? at the club will ask him to accept any big offers should they arrive.
Whether West Ham would be back in the picture is up for debate, although they do still need a striker after their failed experiment with Gianlucca Scamacca last season.
