Report: 6ft 2in PL ace one step from joining West Ham after agreeing 3-yr contract + option



Lukasz Fabianski is set to join West Ham from Swansea City after agreeing a three-year contract, according to Przeglad Sportowy.
The Polish sports site claim the Poland goalkeeper is “a step away” from joining the Londoners and that, barring a late collapse, he will immediately move back to the Premier League following Swansea’s relegation.
Przeglad Sportowy report that Fabianski, 33, has reached an agreement to sign a three-year contract with the option of a fourth year but West ham are still to finalise a fee with the Welsh outfit.
OPINION
Fabianski would not be an exciting signing that will have fans rushing out to buy replica shirts. But he will be a good one. It appears a matter of time before the Pole is unveiled as a Hammer, with the possibility that the formal announcement will be delayed until after Poland’s exit from the World Cup. The 6ft 2in (source: Transfermarkt) goalkeeper has usurped his old Arsenal rival Wojciech Szczesny to become the Poland number one and is set to start their World Cup opener against Senegal tomorrow night. West Ham will eagerly watch the performance of their likely new signing.
