Everton teenager becomes youngest-ever WSL scorer
Everton teenager Issy Hobson became the youngest goalscorer in Women’s Super League history after netting a stoppage-time equaliser against Arsenal on Sunday.
The Toffees all but ended Arsenal’s hopes of winning the title after holding the North Londoners to a 1-1 draw, with a record-breaking moment delighting a sold-out crowd.

Alessia Russo had fired Arsenal ahead on 80 minutes with her 10th goal of the campaign and one that looked likely to be the winner, until 16-year-old Hobson changed the narrative of the clash.
The teenager climbed brilliantly to nod in a half-cleared set-piece, with her 95th-minute header looping past Manuela Zinsberger to rescue a point for Everton.

The goal earned Everton a first point against Arsenal since 2012 and, at 16 years and 180 days old, made substitute Hobson the youngest scorer in WSL history.
