Ian Wright makes bleak Chelsea prediction ahead of Aston Villa clash

Chelsea have no chance of winning and little chance of scoring against Aston Villa when the sides meet on Saturday night, Ian Wright reckons.
The Blues travel to Villa Park off the back of a humiliating 5-0 defeat at rivals Arsenal on Tuesday night which has increased the already huge pressure on manager Mauricio Pochettino.
The result also hurt their chances of qualifying for Europe next season, as the Premier League top five is likely set now, leaving Manchester United, Newcastle, West Ham, Chelsea and potentially Bournemouth and Brighton to fight it out for sixth and seventh.
Pochettino’s side are currently ninth in the table and three points off seventh but based off their performance at the Emirates, they have much work to do.
And with Villa in fourth and set to go all out in the run-in as they look to seal qualification for the Champions League, there isn’t much hope for the Blues in this game.
Wright certainly thinks that’s the case as he made his Super 6 predictions on Stick to Football: ‘Villa all day. Villa are beating Chelsea, especially if Cole Palmer is not there because what I saw the other day?’
Palmer has unquestionably been Chelsea’s best player this season, with 20 goals – the joint-most in the league – and nine assists so far, but missed the loss at Arsenal through illness.
