Nottingham Forest have posted an outrageous official tweet after losing 2-0 at fellow Premier League relegation rivals Everton on Sunday.

Forest slammed ‘three extremely poor decisions’ and have sensationally called out VAR official Stuart Attwell for being a Luton Town supporter.

Pundits have already hit back at Forest for their unprofessionalism, with Jamie Carragher saying their statement reminded him of ‘a fan in a pub’.

The Football Association (FA) has launched an investigation into the controversial social media post after Forest questioned the integrity of the game.

Defeat at Goodison Park this weekend means Forest are 17th in the Premier League table – just one point above Luton – who are in the relegation zone, with both sides having just four fixtures left.
‘Three extremely poor decisions – three penalties not given – which we simply cannot accept,’ Forest tweeted on their official X account after the game.

‘We warned the PGMOL that the VAR is a Luton fan before the game but they didn?t change him. Our patience has been tested multiple times. NFFC will now consider its options.’
