The latest reports from the Dutch media regarding Liverpool’s chase for Arne Slot are quite optimistic.
Voetbal International features a new story claiming there’s been a ‘positive conversation’ between the Reds and Feyenoord.
It’s said the clubs have now ‘approached each other’, and even though there’s no full agreement yet, it seems ‘close’ to happening.
Liverpool are said to be ‘doing their best’ to get to a deal quickly, and for that to happen, they’ll need to pay Feyenoord a ‘realistic compensation’.
Slot seems fully on board with the operation, with Voetbal International pointing out he’s expected to be patient while the clubs negotiate his move. The outlet also sounds very positive when claiming it seems like a ‘matter of time’ before all parties get to an agreement.
Liverpool will only lose Jurgen Klopp at the end of the season, but the Reds are working too wrap things up in advance.
Given how publicly this has all become, it’s best for everyone involved that an agreement is made over the next day or so to avoid it all turning into a circus.
