Pepijn Linders offers himself to club – Could take his ‘entire Liverpool team’ there with him in exodus
Liverpool assistant manager Pepijn Lijnders has offered himself to Besiktas as he prepares for life after Anfield.
That?s according to Sabah, who say the Dutchman could end up in Turkey after leaving Liverpool this summer.
Linders is set to leave Anfield at the end of the season alongside Jurgen Klopp, with him and the rest of the backroom staff electing to leave Merseyside at the same time as the German.
He?s been linked with various jobs since, particularly after Klopp made it clear he would like to move into management once again, and the latest may be Besiktas.
Sabah report that following Fernando Santos? departure from the club, the hunt is now on to find his permanent replacement. Various names have already been presented to President Hasan Arat and the club?s management, with the latest being Lijnders.
He plans to start his managerial career after leaving the Reds and has offered himself to the club, with it even claimed he could take his ?entire Liverpool team? with him to boot.
Besiktas are yet to make any move or act on the proposal and are simply evaluating the option before deciding their next moves.
