Club director directly addresses transfer links with Tottenham midfielder
Real Betis sporting director Manu Fajardo has thrown a major hint that the club will try to re-sign Giovani Lo Celso by stating that the La Liga side are well aware of the midfielder’s qualities.
The writing seems to be on the wall for Lo Celso, who has not had much game time at Tottenham over recent months and is set to enter the final year of his contract this June.
Over the last couple of weeks, various reports have suggested that the Lilywhties are ready to cash in on the 28-year-old, who has been backed to return to Spanish football.
This includes a recent update by  Estadio Deportivo (via TEAMtalk) who claimed that Betis ‘have not forgotten the attacking midfielder’ and are determined to re-sign him.
The outlet revealed that the Spurs man is open to returning to Benito Villamarin Stadium as he believes the move would help him establish himself as a regular in the Argentine national side.
The publication also asserted that Betis are in ‘constant and fluid contact’ with Tottenham over a summer deal for the midfielder and that the Spanish club have moved to the front of the queue for his signature.
