Journalist hears ‘whispers’ that midfielder is not seen as a good fit for Postecoglou at Spurs
The Times reporter Tom Allnutt has revealed that there are doubts internally at Hotpsur Way over whether Yves Bissouma is a good fit for Tottenham’s project.
After an impressive start to the season, Bissouma’s form has fallen off a cliff since the turn of the year and the midfielder might find himself on the chopping block this summer as Ange Postecoglou plans significant changes to the squad.
The Australian admitted to Football.London on Friday that some difficult decisions have to be made this summer, confessing that some good players would have to be let go as he needs players who are better equipped to play in his system.
The Telegraph reported on the same day that one of those let go could be Bissouma, with the outlet stating that while Tottenham have not put the midfielder up for sale, they will consider any attractive offer that comes their way for the former Brighton man.
