Postecoglou comments on ‘very talented’ Mikey Moore – Tottenham’s 16-year-old starlet
It’s the North London derby this weekend, but in his press conference today, Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou took time to discuss Mikey Moore’s development at the club after a week of training with the first team.
Mikey Moore has been making the most of Tottenham‘s fixture break over the last fortnight, by getting some important experience with the first team and taking part in training sessions with the senior squad over the last week.
The 16-year-old has already excelled at youth level this term, registering 16 goals and nine assists in just 14 games (Transfermarkt).
There have been excited murmurs among the Spurs fanbase all week suggesting that Moore could be in line for a place on the bench for Tottenham’s upcoming Premier League clash with Arsenal.

Mikey Moore has impressed Postecoglou this week
Speaking to the press today, Postecoglou spoke on the topic of Moore’s involvement with the senior side throughout this week, and how the youngster has adapted to being involved at a higher level, and the Spurs boss had nothing but praise to offer.
He said (via Football.London): “We’ve done that all year. We’ve had guys at different times from our academy and the Under-21s training with us for extended periods rather than just bringing them up for a day or two. Mikey has been really good.
