After struggling to establish himself as a first-team regular under Antonio Conte, Pape Sarr has flourished while working with Ange Postecoglou and is now regarded as one of the most important midfielders in the Tottenham squad.
His partnership with Yves Bissouma at the start of the season was a key factor in Spurs’ successful ten-game unbeaten run, and he has since shown he can be just as impressive alongside Rodrigo Bentancur, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, and Oliver Skipp.

Spurs have been without Sarr since he limped off in the win over Bournemouth at the start of January, but not because of injury. The young midfielder has been on international duty with Senegal at AFCON, but his team suffered an early exit last night at the hands of hosts, Ivory Coast.
Naturally, Spurs fans want Sarr back in the team immediately, but Postecoglou has suggested we may have to wait until the weekend to see the 21-year-old on the field.
