Report: Spurs will give Postecoglou ‘significant’ funds this summer even without top four
The Guardian have claimed that Ange Postecoglou will have a significant amount of funds to spend on new recruits this summer irrespective of whether Tottenham qualify for the Champions League.
Postecoglou has no made no secret of the fact that he wants Tottenham to challenge the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City for the Premier League title next season (Football.London).
However, in order to do that, the Lilywhites need significant reinforcements to their squad and according to various reports, the North London club’s hierarchy is prepared to fund a summer spending spree.
Just a couple of days ago, Football Transfers claimed that Postecoglou is expected to be handed a transfer war chest of £200m-£250m to spend on new faces.

Tottenham will splash the cash this summer
The Guardian have now also backed Tottenham to spend a ‘significant’ amount this summer, alleging that potential loss of revenue from failing to get into the Champions League will not have any significant impact on the club’s transfer budget.
The publication states: “The manager will be backed with significant funds in the summer but it is unlikely that Champions League revenues would materially alter his budget.
