4 talking points from Atlético?s wild shootout victory over Inter Milan

Atleti secured a place in the Champions League quarter-finals. Atlético Madrid gave fans a night to remember for the ages as they secured a 2-1 comeback win to level the aggregate score of their last 16 Champions League tie with Inter Milan, before emerging victorious with a 3-2 win in the penalty shoot-out that followed.
Federico Dimarco gave Atlético fans a real scare just after the half-hour mark as he gave the visitors the lead against the run of play, but the home team struck straight back as Antoine Griezmann levelled, with Memphis Depay then giving his team the lead when Inter were only four minutes away from qualification. The penalty shoot-out followed, featuring some heroics from Jan Oblak which we?ll expand upon later, and Lautaro MartÃnez?s miss sent Atleti through. Here are four talking points from the game.
