Ange Postecoglou says one Spurs star is ‘vital’ to their North London Derby chances
Ange Postecoglou has been looking ahead to the North London derby this weekend, and had plenty to say about the experience and value of Heung-min Son going into the game.
The Tottenham captain has been in fine form this season, registering 15 goals and nine assists so far (Transfermarkt). He will be hoping to add more to his tally when Arsenal visit the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend.
Son has already scored six goals against the Gunners during his time with Spurs, including a crucial goal in the meeting between the two sides back in September.
It’s expected Son will lead the line for Ange Postecoglou‘s side on Sunday, and there’s every chance that if Tottenham get a positive result, the South Korean will be at the heart of it.

New players can learn from Sonny ahead of NLD
Speaking to the press (via Football.London), the topic of the Spurs skipper came up and Postecoglou was asked just how important he will be for the Lilywhites in the upcoming derby.
He said: “It’s vital, he has the experience and for two or three this will be their first home North London derby, so they will need to lean on those who have done it and excelled.
“Sonny has been a big game player for this club for a long time. He’s been outstanding all year and I know he?s looking forward to the game. We all are. We’re looking forward to any game at the moment.”
