Antoine Semenyo injury: Bournemouth issue update ahead of Aston Villa clash

Andoni Iraola has confirmed that Antoine Semenyo is set to make his return for Bournemouth’s Premier League clash against Aston Villa on Sunday.

The 24-year-old, who has scored seven Premier League goals this season, missed the 2-2 draw with Manchester United last Saturday due to a calf injury.

However, Semenyo has returned to training and is expected to be named in Bournemouth’s matchday squad for their trip to Villa Park this weekend.
‘We will recover Antoine Semenyo, he will be part of the squad if everything goes well tomorrow in training,’ Iraola said on Friday.

‘That?s it. We are losing Sini [Sinisterra] from the other day. He is obviously injured and we don?t expect any more changes.’
