Oliver Glasner has brought a ?competitiveness? to Crystal Palace?s squad that is now driving them up the Premier League table.
That?s according to defender Daniel Munoz, who says the aim for the remainder of the season is to simply add as much points as possible before building under the Austrian.
Glasner arrived to take charge at Crystal Palace back in February when it became clear that Roy Hodgson could not continue in his role as manager.
The plan had been for him to move to Selhurst Park in the summer, but this was brought forward after illness, and a poor run of form under Hodgson, expedited by their plans.
It?s been a slow start to life at the club since, with a first game win over Burnley followed by a run of five games without a win, including draws against relegation candidates Nottingham Forest and Luton. However, a recent positive display in a 4-2 loss to Manchester City was followed by an impressive 1-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield last weekend courtesy of a superb team goal finished off by Eberechi Eze.
That win was very much one designed by Glasner, and Munoz is happy with what he?s seen so far from the Crystal Palace manager.
“He has generated that competitiveness, which has given us that drive, that is what he likes,? he said.
