Jeremy Doku needs to be doing more at Manchester City, with his current numbers not telling the true story of the player.
That?s according to analyst Fillip Joos, who admits he has been forced to change his opinion on the youngster after the last few weeks.
Doku joined Manchester City in a ?60m deal from Stade Rennais in the summer and made an immediate impact with his direct dribbling and pace, something City haven?t had since the days of Leroy Sane.
He?s been a regular in Pep Guardiola?s side throughout the campaign despite only being 21 years old, a further demonstration of the faith in his talent at the Etihad.
He?s somewhat backed that up in the numbers, too, with five goals and six assists in 28 games in all competitions so far.
Two of those goals and five of those assists have come in the Premier League but, one goal and four assists came in a 6-1 win over Bournemouth back in November, with the player not managing to add to his tally in the league since. That?s something Joos has seemingly just become aware of and believes the youngster should be doing something more for Manchester City.
?Against Bournemouth he was good for 1 goal and 4 assists. This means that in all those other matches he only scored 1 goal and provided 1 assist,” he said.
