Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola could end up as England manager in future, with that move making plenty of sense for him.
That?s according to former Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho, who can also see his former manager taking charge of the Netherlands in future too.
Guardiola is currently in his longest spell at one club in his managerial career, having led Manchester City since 2016.
He?s taken charge of 457 games in total, nearly three times as many games as he managed at Bayer Munich and nearly double the number he had at Barcelona.
This summer will see him enter the final year of his deal at the Etihad and it remains to be seen if he?ll extend and move into a 10th season at the club or decide to move on to pastures new.
A move into international management has often been mooted for the Spaniard, who has won everything at club level and could be tempted to try his hand on the international stage as a result. Fernandinho, who made 244 appearances under Guardiola when they worked together at Manchester City, can certainly see that happening.
