Paul Pogba, Juan Mata and Luke Shaw led clear-the-air talks between senior members of Manchester United’s squad before the Newcastle United victory, it has been claimed.
Jose Mourinho’s side have endured a poor start to the new season, losing three of their eight Premier League fixtures and being knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Derby County.
It could have got even worse for the Red Devils after they found themselves 2-0 down at home to struggling Newcastle at the weekend.

But the home side turned things around after half-time and completed a stunning comeback through goals from Mata, Anthony Martial and Alexis Sanchez.
According to The Sun, the victory came after senior members of United’s squad held an inquest at the Carrington training complex late last week.
