Tottenham Hotspur and Ange Postecoglou are now very settled with each other, but the appointment wasn’t always an obvious one.
Following Antonio Conte’s departure, Spurs had interims Cristian Stellini and Ryan Mason in charge while they looked for a full-time coach.
Feyenoord boss Arne Slot had been one of the options, according to reports at the time. And now outlet 1908 shares an interesting story about that, with former Tottenham player Rafael van der Vaart commenting on the possibility.
