Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink slams ‘lucky’ Chelsea star over FA Cup performance

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was left unimpressed by Robert Sanchez’s performance in Chelsea’s FA Cup quarter-final against Leicester City.
Chelsea went into half-time of Sunday’s clash at Stamford Bridge 2-0 up thanks to goals from Marc Cucurella and Cole Palmer.
It could have been more had Raheem Sterling not had his penalty saved by Jakub Stolarczyk.
Leicester had their chances in the opening half, some of the gifts from goalkeeper Sanchez who looked nervous in possession, with opposition players constantly charging down on him and attempting to block his passes back into his own goal.
Asked if he had been unnerved by Sanchez’s performance, Blues striker Hasselbaink said on BBC Sport: ‘A little bit!
‘He hasn’t played for a long time, he hasn’t played regularly. He takes a lot of time when the ball comes back to him and he gets himself in trouble.
‘He needs to get better at that, he’s taking a little bit too much risk and too much time. He’s lucky.
