Reported Spurs target has a £51m release clause this summer – Fabrizio Romano
Fabrizio Romano has said that Tottenham Hotspur might have to meet Dani Olmo’s release clause if they wish to sign the RB Leipzig star this summer.
Olmo was sidelined with an injury for almost the entirety of the first half of the season but the attacking midfielder has been in fine form since returning to action, having scored five goals and provided another five assists this season.
Over the last few weeks, various outlets have suggested that Tottenham are one of the teams eyeing a summer move for the Spain international (Daily Mail).
A few days ago, GiveMeSport even asserted that Ange Postecoglou himself had identified the 26-year-old as a player who would fit nicely into his system.
However, the publication added that Spurs do not want to get involved in a bidding war for the midfielder and would only make a move for him if they are not facing significant competition for his signature.

Romano has explained that there are no advanced talks regarding a summer transfer for Olmo and suggested that interested clubs might have to meet the player’s ?60m (£51m) release clause.
