It has emerged that Ryan Mason called up 16-year-old Tottenham academy winger, Oliver Irow as well as 15-year-old forward, Mikey Moore, to train with the first-team ahead of Manchester United.
Mason’s second spell in charge as interim head coach has got off to an impressive start, with Tottenham battling from two goals down to take a point against Man Utd on Thursday.

The 31-year-old seemingly managed to rally the troops and inspire a performance out of the team despite missing some key players due to injury.
The injuries might be why Mason, who has worked as an academy coach at Tottenham, turned to some youngsters from the youth set-up earlier this week.
The training photos released on the official website earlier this week, showing that Moore, who has seven goal contributions in 10 matches for the Under-18s this season, trained with the senior squad. The 15-year-old was joined in the session by a 16-year-old winger Irow, who has found the back of the net eight times in 16 appearances for the Under-18s.
There was another fresh face in training in the form of an 18-year-old Welsh defender Will Andiyapan.

None of Andiyapan, Moore or Irow have even featured for the Under-21s yet. So, it was a major vote of confidence by Mason to call them up to train with the senior squad.
