Lautaro Martinez’s sensational season at Inter Milan continued with a brace in the club’s 4-0 thrashing of Lecce at the weekend.
The Argentina international is cantering towards the Capocannoniere award as the league’s leading scorer, with his goals having fired Inter to the top of the table. Martinez breached the 20-goal mark during the win at Lecce, a milestone he has reached for the third consecutive campaign.
The 26-year-old has become just the fifth player to achieve that feat this century and only the sixth in the last 65 years of Serie A.

Antonio Di Natale
Antonio Di Natale cemented his place as an Udinese legend during an incredible Indian Summer with I Bianconeri, producing the best football of his career in his thirties. Di Natale had been a reliable, if unremarkable, goalscorer during his early career, but exploded during the twilight of his time at Udinese to set records. He became the club’s record appearance maker and goalscorer in Serie A with 191 goals in 385 games, while he is the sixth-highest scorer in the league’s history.
The veteran scored 20+ goals in four consecutive campaigns between 2010 and 2013, with Di Natale the only player to reach that milestone in four straight seasons this century. That return included back-to-back Capocannoniere awards as the league’s leading scorer
