Tottenham enter race with Arsenal to sign Pedro Neto from Wolves

Tottenham have entered the race with Arsenal to sign Wolves winger Pedro Neto, according to reports.
The 23-year-old has been in excellent form for Wolves this season with two goals and nine assists so far, while he was also forced to miss nine games due to a hamstring injury.
Arsenal have been long-term admirers of Neto, with Mikel Arteta reportedly keen on the Portuguese winger to provide competition for Bukayo Saka.
But according to The Independent, Arsenal are set to face competition this summer as Tottenham have identified Neto as one of their ‘main targets’.
The report claims that Crystal Palace?s Eberechi Eze is also on Tottenham’s shortlist, although the 25-year-old is attracting strong interest from Manchester City.

It’s understood that Wolves are holding out for an £80 million fee for Neto, whose contract with the club expires in 2027.
Speaking earlier this month, Wolves manager Gary O’Neil was adamant that he is keen to keep Neto at the club.
‘I think his strengths are incredibly strong. Obviously his athleticism and his pace are excellent, his quality on the ball, when he?s dribbling or when he?s trying to find a pass at the end of it, is excellent,’ O’Neil said.
