Defends his position well in isolated moments but is woefully short on confident, exemplified by his subpar crossing and even reluctance to break forward on the ball. With Marcos Llorente?s return imminent, it really should spell the end for Molina as a starter at Atlético de Madrid ? he has been out of form for an entire calendar year. 3

Caught out easily for his lack of speed; Betis did their homework and targeted the space behind the Belgian relentlessly throughout, particularly in the first half. Not fair on the 36-year-old to continue hoping he fights against Father Time. 3 Giménez
Deflected Ez Abde?s cross behind Jan Oblak for what turned out to be the game?s only goal. Pretty good otherwise, though susceptible to counterattacks in the second half as the visitors made some effort to score. 3.5

Picked up a yellow in the opening minutes. A ticking time bomb out of possession and unreliable on the ball, at one point sending the ball straight out of bounds as he tried to build play with Samuel Lino. Removed at halftime. 3
