Preview: Atlético, Betis hope to bounce back from midweek European disappointment

The Champions League has humbled Atlético yet again. Can Simeone?s men respond at Betis" Atlético de Madrid will put its unbeaten record in LaLiga back in play on Sunday evening, when Los Rojiblancos visit Real Betis on El Clásico weekend.
Seeing as Real Madrid hosts Barcelona in the season's first Clásico on Saturday night, Atlético Madrid (5-5-0, 20 points) has a great opportunity to get closer to one (or both) of the current top two with a win at the Benito VillamarÃn on Sunday. Under Diego Simeone?s leadership, Atlético has posted an excellent record against Betis, including seven wins and four draws from 12 visits to the VillamarÃn since 2012.
