What a moment Inaki Pena has been under plenty of scrutiny this season since replacing Marc-Andre ter Stegen in the Barcelona goal but came up trumps at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday.
The goalkeeper put in arguably the best performance of his career so far, making a string of saves and sweeping up behind his defence.
The highlight of his performance was a simply outstanding save in the first half when he somehow managed to paw the ball out of his goal and onto the post when Barca had looked destined to go behind.
It was the kind of save that drew plenty of praise and even led Mats Hummels to describe it as ?one of the best saves I have ever seen.? That?s quite the statement from a player who has won plenty of titles during his career - including the 2014 World Cup.

Pena?s performance will be a huge shot in the arm for the goalkeeper who has looked short of confidence since stepping into the team. It will also surely mean that new signing Szczesny continues on the bench for now.
