Bayern Munich reportedly approached Oliver Mintzlaff for the CEO job

Bayern had Mintzlaff in their sights, but they could still wind up renewing the contract of current CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen. Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen is set to have his future with the club decided next month when the supervisory board has their next meeting. Dreesen?s current contract with the club as their CEO runs through June 2025, so he is approaching the final year on his contract after having been brought in to replace Oliver Kahn after the conclusion of the 2022/23 season. At the time, both Kahn and then sporting director Hasan Salihamid?i? were let go by the club on the final day of the Bundesliga season where Bayern lifted the Meisterschale by virtue of their late win at FC Köln and Borussia Dortmund?s home draw to Mainz. It is still unclear whether or not Bayern plans on renewing Dreesen?s contract or not, but there is still time for them to make the decision. Regardless of what decision is made, he can, and likely will, remain in his post until the season concludes.
However, in the interim, it has been reported by Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg that Bayern has, in fact, approached former RB Leipzig CEO and current CEO of Corporate Projects and Investments for Red Bull Oliver Mintzlaff.
