Looking Around the League: Bayer Leverkusen Drop Points Against Werder Bremen

I?ve done my best to ignore it for as long as possible, but eight games into the Bundesliga season, I can no longer ignore it. Bayern is absolutely flying. They still feel like they?ve got the same vulnerabilities that have been present in recent seasons, but the offense is lethal, and Harry Kane is still very, very good. The Englishman has contributed nine goals and five assists this season, averaging 1.91 G+A/90.
Over the weekend, Bayern took part in their annual thumping of Bochum, sticking five past them at Vonovia Ruhrstadion.
They already look like they?ll be difficult to catch at this point. Hopefully, they can find a way to fumble their good start to the Bundesliga season. Here?s how matchday eight played out around the league. Results
