Match Ratings: Dortmund Flat Against Lowly Augsburg

Yeesh. Just like, I don?t even know man. Wow, another BVB loss away from home, and this time to Augsburg. The Bavarian side were historically a bogey team for BVB, but in the last few years, it seemed the Black and Yellows had figured out how to get the best of the Fuggerstädter. Not this time. Augsburg were the better side of 90 minutes, and BVB are now starting down the barrel of an atrocious away record and a freefall in the league standings.
Yikes.

As bad as this BVB performance was overall, the reality is that they held Augsburg to 4 shots on target and 0.74 expected goals on target, and Kobel still let in two goals, including one that he absolutely should have stopped. He needs to do better. Patrick Morrison: 4
Even Gregor Kobel is not immune to Dortmund?s current slump. He looked sub-par and could have done better for both goals, especially the first.

Toasted on several occasions before limping off. Ryerson may have been off his game, but having him off the pitch entirely is much, much worse.
