MOTM Poll: Dortmund fall to Wolfsburg after Extra Time in the German Cup Second Round

A 117th minute Extra Time goal broke the deadlock as BVB exit the German Cup Whelp, this is the result I expected. Borussia Dortmund created far too little, and lost on the road yet again, their fifth consecutive loss away from home. VAR is not utilized in the Pokal until the Round of Sixteen, and Referee Daniel Seabert had a disaster-class performance attempting to manage this game, missing several infringements from both teams. Most notably was an obvious handball in the first half against Wolfsburg, and then Felix Nmecha?s horror tackle on Patrick Wimmer, but I?ll try not to digress.
There were some positive signs of stability despite the squad?s lack of depth, with only Sabitzer and Meyer as the senior players available from the bench. Beier had an early chance in this game, but that was the only shot that felt close to going in. I know Sahin is in a difficult position with the limited personnel, but this makeshift formation produced very little. Bensebaini won most of his tackles and duals, and recovered the ball a dozen times. He covers the left flank fairly well, and provided service from corner kicks, which was at least a sign Sahin is trying something
