Back to the league and back to Leyland

Following Saturday?s win against Brighton at the Turf, the under-21s return to league action this evening with a home game against Barnsley.
We are currently in third place in the table and just a point behind second place Hull with a much better goal difference, so any sort of positive result will take us up a place although it will leave Hull with two games in hand.
The team is very much in form right now and have won six of the last seven games, and the one defeat came at runaway leaders Sheffield United. We?ve scored 23 goals in those games too, with Kamarni Ryan leading the way with six of them.
With a hectic recent schedule, we can expect changes from the team that beat Brighton but that?s been the case in recent weeks as the wins have continued to come. Our opponents Barnsley are currently two places and four points behind us having won three, drawn one and lost five of their nine games to date. Although only three teams in the north group have scored more goals, only Wigan have conceded more.
They last played in the first week of the month. They were beaten 4-3 at home by Peterborough two weeks ago today, but three days later they beat Crewe 2-0 at home with Ziggy Kozluk and Luke Alker scoring their goals. Their team included two former Burnley scholars Nathan James and Callum West who are expected to play tonight.
