Coventry at the Turf for the under-21s

The under-21s take their impressive recent run back to the Turf tonight for a Professional Development League game against Coventry City.
We?ve won six of the last seven league games, the only loss coming away to leaders Sheffield United, and earlier this month we added wins against Luton and Brighton to that impressive total in the Premier League Cup, the home game against Brighton being played at the Turf. That?s a total of eight wins in nine during which we?ve scored twenty-eight goals.
Hull?s win at Birmingham last Friday saw us drop to third in the table but even a draw would see us go back above them tonight on goal difference but they will have two games on hand of us, but given we won just two points from the opening four games, this has been a remarkable upturn in results from Andy Farrell?s team. Coventry have now had things all their own way this season. They go into tonight?s game next to bottom of the table. They?ve played four less games than us but have won just two and lost five of their games so far and remarkably have a goal difference of plus five.
The reason for the goal difference is due to the fact that when they win, they win big. Back in August they won their opening game of the season 6-0 at QPR and more recently, just two weeks ago, they beat Birmingham 8-0 at home when summer signing Norman Bassette helped himself to four goals as they went 5-0 up within the first eighteen minutes.
