Laurent is top man at Hillsborough

Midfielder Josh Laurent returned to the Burnley team for last Saturday?s game and ended the 2-0 win as the winner of our man of the match and player ratings.
It wasn?t close with either and for the man of the match he won 48% of the vote in winning it for the first time. Zian Flemming, also back in the starting line-up, came second with 19% and Josh Brownhill, who scored the second goal, was third with a 10% share. CJ Egan-Riley, who has now become a regular in the team, was fourth with 8% of the vote.
The same two players claimed the top two places in the player ratings with Laurent again a clear winner. He had a rating of 8.20 out of ten, way ahead of Flemming who scored 7.51. Josh Cullen was third with a rating of 7.41 with Brownhill taking fourth place with 7.29 out of ten. It?s given Laurent ten points towards the Up the Clarets Player of the Year with six points to Flemming. There are three points for Brownhill and two for Cullen with Egan-Riley winning one point.
It has moved Brownhill, who is in second place, closer to leader Maxime Estève although the defender?s lead at the top is still 29 points. Egan-Riley then leads the next group from third place although some way behind.
Voting will continue for the HULL game until 5 p.m. on Saturday with the QPR vote starting soon afterwards.
