Motta says Juve remain a competitive team despite current injury crunch

Motta?s thoughts ahead of a tough clash against Lazio After a busy international break, club football has returned, with Juventus set to take on Lazio this Saturday, which represents the first of an exciting and notably difficult set of upcoming games. Apart from the perennially competitive Lazio, Juventus plays Stuttgart on Tuesday in the Champions League, and then current league leaders and last year?s champions, Inter, in the Derby d?Italia next weekend.
Ahead of their clash against Lazio, who currently sit one position below Juventus in the table, separated only by goal difference, Juve manager Thiago Motta spoke about the mentality of the club and players, especially amid a disheartening string of injuries. ?The team are doing very well, the players have trained very well and we?ll be ready for tomorrow?s match,? Motta said regarding the club?s injuries and their morale heading into Lazio?s visit to Turin. ?We won?t have (Gleison) Bremer, (Arkadiusz) Milik, (Weston) McKennie, (Teun) Koopmeiners, Nico Gonzalez or (Francisco) Conceicao, who is suspended, available. (Nicolo) Fagioli and (Timothy) Weah will be available for selection.?
