Round 8: Juventus vs. Lazio match preview

Juventus big stretch of games to wrap up the month of October is about to begin. The October international break is now a thing of the past. It?s gone, and even after a frustrating result in which Juventus had right before a good portion of their roster went off to play for their respective national teams, we?re now nearly two weeks out from the last time Thiago Motta rocked that lovely black suit of his and saw his team take the field at the Allianz Stadium.
Over the next 22 days, Juventus are playing a blistering pace of games. In the next three weeks, Motta?s squad will play seven times. SEVEN GAMES! IN 22 DAYS! That is easy math to figure out Juve is playing a game every three days until the final international break of 2024 ? and the last one until March! ? arrives. It?s going to be a lot to ask out of this squad ? and especially one that is dealing with arguably its biggest roster crunch since the beginning of the season when the squad was far from a finished product. And, as we know, the beginning of this seven-game stretch that starts this weekend at the same place in which Juve played out that disappointing 1-1 draw with Cagliari is far from easy.
Juventus face Lazio on Saturday night in a game that once again sees the Bianconeri lining up against an old friend. But it?s not the same old friend in which Lazio was managed the last couple of years until Maurizio Sarri resign...
