With a good number of question marks heading into the new campaign, the Juve women have began the new campaign with an impressive winning streak that has included qualifying for the Women?s Champions League group stage. For the second consecutive season, Juventus Women have won their first five games of the new Serie A Femminile campaign. But, as much as it was a positive development 12 months ago, there was the lingering disappointment of not qualifying for the Women?s Champions League group stage and left a team that was built to potentially make the knockout rounds for the second straight season suddenly in flux.

As the previous season played out, once the winning streak ended, so did any remaining good feelings, with bad vibes taking over and then-manager Joe Montemurro ? who had led the Juve women to the UWCL knockout rounds for the first time in their history during the 2022-23 season ? being dismissed in early March. The early-season success has repeated itself domestically for Juve as summer turns into the fall and September flips to October.
